Dear Polk County Manufacturers and Related Industries,
The challenges facing us in manufacturing continue to grow in complexity and criticality, and the resources available to meet these challenges continue to shrink. The leadership of the Polk Manufacturing Association (PMA) is working to find ways that we can collaborate and encourage each other to effectively face and overcome these hurdles. All of us know the important of manufacturing to the local and national economy, and we also know that business as usual is not an acceptable plan.
With this in mind, the PMA leadership has decided to press ahead with a more aggressive agenda. We have had some success with our programs and training offerings over the past 3 years but have not reached the critical mass where we are confident that we are meeting the needs of our current and potential members. Wwe have mapped out our key priorities. We need your participation to create a strong association. Please help by joining together with us. Steve Kullberg, PMA Co-Chair
